Sedum is native to many parts of the world. Fleshy leaves are evergreen and variable in size, shape and color. Varieties range from small mounding plants to 3-4 foot trailing stems from a hanging basket.

Grow in rock gardens for the smaller varieties, and rich fast draining soil for the hanging varieties. Most grow in full sun or partial shade and need little to moderate water.
