FERNS

Staghorn Fern. Native to tropical regions where they grow on trees. Forked fronds (resembling deer antlers) are flat, pale green, turning to tan and brown as they age.

Staghorn ferns grow best mounted on slabs of bark, in hanging baskets or attached to trees. They prefer garden rooms, sun porches or attached to greenhouse walls where direct sun can be filtered. Water only when dry.
