IVY'S
Hedera. Ivy is appreciated by some gardeners for its ability to cover quickly, and reviled by others for its invasive tendencies. The leaf shapes vary widely, from deeply lobed and cleft, ruffle edged, narrow arrow shaped, or divided into distinct leaflets.
Many small and miniature leafed forms of English ivy are good choices as ground cover in defined garden areas or in containers. Ivy's made beautiful hanging baskets and can be trained into intricate patterns on walls or topiaries. Some shade in hottest climates and moderate to regular watering.
